  'Clarkey' signed for us from Concord Rangers. His signing has been a tremendous boost to the team. At the time of signing him we were struggling for goals with Dean Allen being our only real threat. When Clarkey signed not only did we have other options but it improved Deano's performances. Since joining he has scored 6 goals in 9 starts but has been frustrated with a niggling injury of late. However he is fully fit now and raring to go. We now have 4 superb strikers at the club in Dean Allen, Danny Greaves, Nathan Evans and Clarkey. Hopefully these boys will score the goals to fire Bowers to a top 5 finish. Clarkey is a good lad around the dressing room even when he is getting the stick.

Barking away, lost 2-1 after Richard Shaw and Coco Mole decided to spank the ball in their own nets! An interesting day from which I came away with serious bung probe questions for Mr Doyle especially about the mole.

b) whats been the best thing about signing for bowers this season?
Save that for saturday when we smack it up against Barking!

6) Have you ever been involved with a professional club?
Yeah Millwall for 2 years and Southend

7) Whats been the most frustrating point in the season for you?
The Last 8 weeks suffering from my BIG toe injury, never before have I been so frustrated by a single toe!

8) What is your ambition as a non league footballer?
To not be non league, make a step up, cant be that diffciult.

9) Who is the best player you have played with so far in non league
football?
Matt Harrold @ seevic college current Southend United forward, absolute Class the boy!

10) Who is the best player you remember playing against in non league?
Jeff Minton Canvey Island FC, mans a bit like darren ellis but good!

11) Who will win the ESL this year?
Not sure really, think it'll probably be that side who play up the A12 in the middle of a field, oh you know, it'll come to me in a minute, you know over by the leisure centre, i'll have to let you know.

The Small Dog, 100% attendance, if we were putting his commitment to training in religion terms say for instance Islam, he'd probably strap himself with explosives and board a packed train. Thats dedication!

Doc - because he's got tunnel vision!

Good, needed a new challenge, had become stuck in a rutt. Disappointed with my treatment by certain people at the club after my loyal service

Takes me back to my school days 3-2 we won with a few seconds on the clock, overhead kick from the edge of the corner of the box, loved it, went crazy!
