BOWERS & PITSEA FOOTBALL CLUB

SCOTT PETHERS

18 years of age ~ Midfielder

The first Interview is with Scott Pethers who signed for Bowers and Pitsea during this season, 2006/2007, after beginning the season with Ryman 1 North side Maldon Town. He had previously been with Burnham Ramblers where he had been a huge success in the under 18 and reserve side and made a handful of appearances for the first team toward the back end of last season. His chances became very limited at Maldon Town as Colin Wallington preferred experience to youth so Scott was persuaded to join some former Burnham Rambers team mates at Bowers. After a disasterous start, breaking his foot on his debut, he has now recovered and is finally performing somewhere near the level that is expected of him.
